About Me

My Story

I’ve always dreamed of becoming a doctor. Throughout my school years, I was driven by a deep curiosity about how the human body works. I dedicated myself to learning and studying with one clear goal — to secure a place at a top medical university.

But everything changed when I joined the school swim team. It was there, in the water, that I began to understand just how incredible the human body truly is. I watched in awe as consistent training transformed my strength, speed, and endurance. I wasn’t just learning about the body — I was experiencing its potential firsthand. I began winning competitions at various levels, and for a while, it seemed like nothing could stop me.

But life had other plans. After a few years, I started experiencing health issues and suffered my first serious injuries. These setbacks made it impossible for me to continue swimming competitively. For a young athlete who had always thrived in the water, it was a devastating blow.

But every challenge brings a lesson.

My experiences in competitive swimming taught me something invaluable: As a doctor, I might have a deep understanding of the human body, but I wouldn’t have the same opportunity to work closely with people, guiding them toward recovery and real change. I wanted to make a tangible difference — to help others not just understand their bodies, but to heal, to recover, and to thrive.

That’s when I found my true calling. I shifted my focus from becoming a doctor to pursuing a career in physiotherapy.

In 2017, I achieved my first milestone by earning my Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy. But I wasn’t done. Two years later, in July 2019, I proudly received my Master’s degree. During my university years, I gained hands-on experience working in hospitals and private clinics, learning directly from patients and honing my skills. I became a certified Trigger Point Therapist using the Ed Wilson method, among many other qualifications.

But beyond the certifications and degrees, I discovered a simple truth: Most pain problems can be solved with the right education and understanding.

Why? Because the human body is like a complex machine — but no one gives us a user manual. As children, we learn to sit, walk, and run by instinct. These basic movements become habits that stay with us for life. But as we age, those instinctive movements can become problematic. The body, always seeking efficiency, often sacrifices good posture for comfort. Over time, this leads to poor movement patterns and, ultimately, pain.

Our ancestors faced challenges with food scarcity, forcing the body to adapt in two key ways:

  • Storing energy as fat.

  • Conserving energy by relying on passive structures (bones, joints) rather than active muscle engagement.

These adaptations, once necessary for survival, now lead to modern pain problems. Poor posture isn’t just a bad habit — it’s the body trying to save energy. We lean on our bones and joints rather than using our muscles, unaware of the stress this places on our skeletal system.

That’s why I created BodiesUp.

BodiesUp is more than just a brand. It’s a mission. I want to share the knowledge I’ve gained through years of study and personal experience. I want to help people build a better relationship with their bodies — to understand why they feel pain, why running feels like a struggle, or why a simple walk can become a challenge.

This is a journey we take together — a journey toward better health, greater strength, and a deeper understanding of the amazing machine that is the human body.

Let’s take this journey together💙
